Meet Our Team
Andrew Tanner
I am a dedicated attorney with a diverse background and a strong commitment to serving my clients. Originally from Minnesota, I earned my undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota before pursuing my law degree at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. My legal career has been shaped by unique experiences that have provided me with a deep understanding of the law and an unwavering dedication to justice.
From 1998 to 2006, I proudly served as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, where I gained invaluable insights into federal law enforcement operations. My tenure included assignments in the Chicago Field Office and the Ford Protective Division, where I honed my skills in investigation, risk assessment, and crisis management.
Additionally, I served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves during my college and law school years, further reinforcing my commitment to discipline, teamwork, and leadership.
In 2002, I relocated to the Coachella Valley, where I have made my home. Following my time with the Secret Service, I joined the Riverside County Public Defender's Office, first as an investigator and later as a Deputy Public Defender. This role allowed me to advocate for clients in challenging circumstances and has deepened my passion for public service.
I am proud to bring my extensive law enforcement experience and dedication to my legal practice, ensuring that each client receives the highest level of representation and care.
